Lyndsey Gillis
Founder & Coach
Lyndsey Gillis is the varsity head coach and program director of the Mercer Island Girls’ Lacrosse program. Since her inaugural year with Mercer Island in 2017, she has led the Islanders to two state championships and was the 2017 WSLA Coach of the year. Lyndsey also coaches the elementary school program on Mercer Island where her eldest of three is a happy participant. She currently serves as an executive member to the WSLA board in her commitment to help grow the sport in the PNW. Over the past twelve years, Lyndsey has been passionate about supporting and aiding players in their pursuit of collegiate level lacrosse. She has successfully helped many student-athletes find homes at NCAA DI-III programs.
Prior to taking the position on Mercer Island, Lyndsey directed the Seattle Starz girls’ program in addition to teaching and coaching at Seattle Preparatory school for six years. She also spent two seasons at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT as a teaching fellow where she coached varsity volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Washington in 2012 and her BS from Bowdoin College in 2008 where she was a dual sport athlete.

Megan Armes
Megan Armes is a Southern California native who moved to Washington in 2025. She played NCAA Division I lacrosse at St. Mary's College of California from 2011-2015, earning First Team All-MPSF conference honors in 2014 and led the conference in caused turnovers her senior year. During high school, she was an All-American and a repeat All-County First Team selection.
Prior to her move to the PNW, she completed her fourth season as Head Coach at St. Margaret's Episcopal School, where her team won the CIF Division 2 Championship. Megan co-founded the all-girls lacrosse club, Frenzy, and served as its recruiting director and coach. She is a tenured Head Coach for the Corrigan Sports All-America West Team and a 3x coach for the USA Lacrosse High School SoCal National Team. She continues to remotely operate her family’s electrical business from Washington while coaching the Arc HS lacrosse teams.

Saffron Feniello
Saffron is a PNW native and started playing lacrosse in 6th grade as part of the first youth lacrosse program on Mercer Island. As varsity lacrosse captain, she graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2013. She continued her lacrosse career and attended the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. As a third year program, Mount Olive made their way to the Top 10 of Division II and won its first Conference Carolinas Championship her sophomore year. Saffron graduated from Mount Olive in 2017. She is now back coaching on Mercer Island where she assists the varsity program in offensive coordinating and goalie coaching. Her efforts have helped lead the Islanders to two state championships since 2019.

Caitlin Cataldo
Caitlin is a 2014 graduate of NCAA Division III NESCAC school, Connecticut College, where she played as a goalkeeper for the Camels. After graduating, Caitlin started her career in education and coaching working at a Boston-based educational non-profit and with the Milton Academy (MA) Freshman Lacrosse team, focusing on culture building and lacrosse basics. She later joined the Endicott College (MA) coaching staff where she focused on work with the GKs and coached the 2017 CCC Defensive Player of the Year. Caitlin then spent 4 years at Canterbury School (CT) as the Varsity Assistant Coach responsible for managing the defensive unit. After Canterbury, Caitlin spent time as both the Middle School and Upper School Head Coach for Pacific Ridge School (CA) girls’ lacrosse teams while working with Coast Lacrosse Club and individual goalies in the San Diego area. Caitlin is now at the Bush School and assisting with the ARC HS Elite and 2026 teams.

Danielle Morgan
Danielle Morgan is a Washington native, and a 2017 graduate of Aurora University in Aurora, IL. She was on the inaugural Mukilteo Lacrosse Club HS Girls team, and during her time in college, Danielle was on the inaugural AU Women’s Lacrosse team as a four-year starter, and captain her sophomore, junior, and senior years. The summer after her Junior year she played on the USA Athletes International Lacrosse team in the 2015 “Down Under Lacrosse Tournament” in Melbourne, Australia. She also made MWLC 1st Team All Conference for Defense and Midfield two years in a row. After receiving her B.A in Secondary Education and English, Danielle was the assistant women’s lacrosse coach for Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Now she coaches on Mercer Island where she is the JV Head Coach, a youth coach, and teacher at the middle school and high school.

Ruth Bonner has been a guest coach for Arc Lacrosse since Summer 2025. Since becoming a military spouse she has tried to coach wherever she and her family have been stationed. In Florida, she was an assistant coach for District Champions Pensacola Catholic HS Girls Lacrosse. While in Washington State, she was a member of the Seattle Starz coaching staff and the head coach of the Snohomish Lacrosse Club, making it to the WA State semi-finals in both seasons.
Prior to living on the west coast, Ruth coached Women's Lacrosse at the NCAA Division III level for nearly a decade. Her last two years she was the head coach for the inaugural US Coast Guard Women's Lacrosse team. As an assistant at Bowdoin College she was part of a program that reached the NCAA tournament, the NESCAC tournament, and coached 3 All-Americans. Ruth earned her master's degree in Exercise and Sports Studies from Smith College, and her BA from University of New England in 2005 where she was a dual sport athlete.

Ruth Bonner
Claire Rosenburg
Claire was a standout attacker for the Vikings, starting all four years of her collegiate career. She earned the distinction of being a three-time Southern Athletic Association (SAA) all-conference selection and solidified her legacy by setting the all-time assists records at both Berry College and in the SAA. Her impressive on-field vision and playmaking abilities made her one of the most dynamic attackers in the league.
After her playing days, Claire pursued a master’s degree in sports management at Illinois State University, where she also found a new avenue for her passion: coaching. As a graduate assistant coach for the Illinois Wesleyan University Women’s Lacrosse team, she further developed her skills and made a positive impact on the players she mentored. Throughout her career, Rosenberg’s love for the game has taken her across the country, coaching teams in Georgia, Chicago, and Illinois, sharing her knowledge and dedication with the next generation of lacrosse athletes.

Madigan Lublin
Originally from Upstate New York and played 5 years of NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Pittsburgh, competing in the ACC against some of the top programs in the country. During her collegiate career, she earned All-Academic ACC honors three times and was an active member of Pitt’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Over the past several years, Madigan has been passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field. She focuses on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and a competitive mindset while helping players grow their lacrosse IQ and love for the game. Her coaching style emphasizes energy, accountability, teamwork, and creating a positive environment where athletes can compete and improve every day.
Madigan has coached with Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC) for four years and Aces Elite for three years. She also served as the Head JV Lacrosse Coach at Mt. Lebanon High School, where she focused on player development and team culture. Drawing from her experience competing at the Division I level, she is passionate about helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Alle Dunbar
Alle is a Mercer Island (class of 2017) and University of Oregon (class of 2021) alumna. She earned 4 varsity letters at MIHS and played 4 years of NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Oregon. At MIHS, Alle earned MVP, two all-conference and all-state accolades. She was also named Captain in her senior year. In her senior season at U of O, Alle started in all 12 games and was ranked 11th for total saves in the NCAA before the season was cut short due to covid. Alle specializes in goalie development and has coached levels K-12 for over 8 years. With 15 years of experience as a player and coach, Alle brings a new, active perspective for what it means to be a goalie. Alle currently lives in Seattle and works in Tech.

Maddy Hunter
Maddy Hunter wrapped up her five-year career as one of the top all-around players for the NCAA DI, Arizona State Sun Devils. She was a part of the 2018 inaugural team. She has overcame adversity and emerged as a multi-year captain, becoming one of the faces of the program. Hunter played in 59 games as a midfielder: scoring 51 goals, dished out 19 assists, and caused 44 turnovers. She has also collected 94 ground balls and earned 125 draw controls, both totals put her Top-5 in program history. Hunter was also a Pac-12 All-Academic selection every year she was eligible. Along with experience in club coaching, she has provided private lessons for players of all positions. Her versatility in all ends of the field has equipped her with skills to help coach any player. Hunter has specialities in defensive, offensive, and draw circle (and taker) play. She earned an undergraduate degree in Medical Studies (BS) as well as a master’s degree in Healthcare Innovation (MHI).

Elizabeth Andrews
Elizabeth is a Bellevue native and Seattle Starz program alum for 7 years, including the program’s inaugural season. She played for Bellevue High School, held a captain title during her Junior year, and spent senior year playing for NSI after transferring to Sammamish High School. She graduated from Occidental College in 2020 with a B.A. in Economics and minors in History, Public Health and Urban & Environmental Policy. Andrews competed all four years at midfield for Occidental's NCAA DIII program, reaching playoffs every year. Additionally, she made SCIAC All-Academic Team for three seasons.

Chaija Olsson
Chaija played Division 2 women’s lacrosse at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina, earning First Team All Conference Carolinas and Second Team All IWLCA South Region honors. She also received recognition as a Third Team All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine and Defensive Player of the Year by Conference of Carolinas. As a Graduate Assistant Coach, Chaija helped Mount Olive secure two Conference Carolina championships and two Regular Season Championship titles. Ella Skoglund
Ella Skoglund is a Seattle native, and played for Seattle Academy, including the program's inaugural season. She was a two-year Varsity captain, and played for Cityside and PSS. Last year (2025) she graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in Economics, and now works at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Analyst. Ella was a four year midfielder on the Occidental NCAA DIII Lacrosse team, reaching playoffs every year. This season, she coached the Seattle Academy Varsity team.

Niki Demarinis
Niki Demarinis grew up in south Seattle where she began playing lacrosse in the 9th grade. She played on varsity at Kennedy Catholic for three years and was captain her senior year. After high school, Niki attended Boise State University, where she was a starter for four years. During her junior year of college, Niki lead her team on and off the field by working as an officer on the board. When she graduated with her BA in English, she had helped to lead the Broncos to multiple regional appearances. Currently, Niki is the JV head coach at ISD. Niki is passionate about growing the game of women’s lacrosse and fostering friendships and community through the game.

Anabel Ohsman
Anabel Ohsman grew up in the Seattle area playing lacrosse for Snolax Girls Lacrosse from third grade through high school. She went on to play NCAA DIII lacrosse at Willamette University where she was a part of the 2019 inaugural team and was named team captain for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Since graduating, Anabel began coaching for Mercer Island Girls Lacrosse at the 14U level.
